New Name, New Look, Same Vision
Cabana Rehab Interiors is now Holt Design House…
When I posted that first photo of my own home to Instagram 5 years ago, I had no intentions of starting a business. For my entire life I had been surrounded by home remodeling or building thanks to an interior designer mother and a father and stepfather (and all of my uncles) in the construction industry. I've been on a jobsite since before I could even walk, and most of my childhood I can remember living through remodels or building a new home.
I took that love of construction and design and dragged my husband along with me as we have purchased and renovated two homes. I have to be the most annoying person to house hunt with because I either love a house or hate a house in a second flat, and am immediately redesigning it as we walk though the open house.
Our second home is on Cabana Drive, hence the name Cabana Rehab Interiors; my dream street on a dream lot, without the dream home on it. My parents suggested we demo the house and build new, but we couldn't afford to do that all at once. I proudly proclaimed we would do it in “phases” and I could hear my parents eyes roll over the phone. Something about it taking 3 times as long (turned out to be 8 times as long) and double the money (they weren't wrong) doing it in phases…. But I was determined to turn the place around and make it our own.
With small children by my side, we renovated this home square foot by square foot, and I found my passion. I started sharing the progress on Instagram, and when I posted that we had run out of money after our backyard phase and I didn't know what to do with my spare time, I couldn't believe it when person after person started messaging me asking to hire me.
And so a business was born.
Over the last 5 years I have grown immensely as a designer and business person and have so enjoyed seeing my vision come to life with trusted partners and clients. I never could have dreamed to work with so many amazing clients who believed in me to see them through their new build or remodel.
Recently, though, I felt a call that Cabana Rehab Interiors name just wasn't encompassing the strategic partnerships and vision I've created and as I look toward the future I knew a name change was needed.
I am so excited for the launch of the new brand, website and vision for the future with all of you.

A big shoutout to the entire team at Studio Antheia for the work they put into the new logo, branding documents and website. They truly exceeded my expectations and I am so proud to be one of their clients. It was so fun and exciting to be on the “other side” of a design project.
